Youth Triathlon Training Team
Practices on Monday's
from 5:00-6:30pm at
Summit Chase Country Club.
5:00-6:00 Run/Bike
6:00-6:30 Swim Session
 
3 training sessions per practice 
 
Swimming Session – Kids will be separated into training groups based on age and ability. Swim practice will focus on proper technique and cardiovascular endurance.
 
Biking Session – Bike sessions will be conducted at Summit Chase Country Club and will focus on safe bike handling skills. Kids will learn how to mount and dismount safely, hold a straight line, and execute safe turns. They will also become familiar with proper signaling and group riding etiquette. Mileage on the bike will increase as handling skills are perfected.
 
Running Session – Run workouts will be age appropriate, focus on proper running technique, and include a proper warm up and cool down. 
 
Transition practice and brick workouts will be included throughout each session during the swim, bike, and/or run sessions.
